Production Engineer Trainee

We are looking for a Production Engineer Trainee for our specialty paper production at Tervakoski. Trainee period is about 18 months long, including 3-6 months job rotation to another delfort mill in Europe. This Delfort group’s trainee program starts in the beginning of September 2024.

Your main tasks: 

• Daily production tasks on the production line (paper machine); performance monitoring, securing production quality, problem solving, leading people, etc.
• Participation in CAPEX projects
• Various production development tasks

Your profile: 

• Master or Bachelor of Science 
• Knowledge of paper industry or other process industry
• Analytical problem-solving approach
• Proactive attitude and flexible approach, eagerness to learn and to develop
• Target oriented mindset
• Fast learner, willing to develop further to a bigger role in line management
• Capability and willingness to lead people
• Excellent English and Finnish skills, German is an advantage
